Cyprus is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea. It is occupied with rocks on the north and south and the south coast is covered with valleys. The other airport, Pafos, is 15km distant from the town and you’ll spend approximately 35 minutes to reach the town from the airport. It provides similar facilities like the Larnaca airport.

Being an island, Cyprus is not connected with other states by roads, but inside the country highways link all the cities and countrysides. If you are planning to hire a car it is advised to book it beforehand, especially in summer and bear in mind to take a National driving certificate or International driving permit.
